Family Promise

Family Promise of Gwinnett County, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3, interfaith organization for families in transition. Part of a national network, Family Promise of Gwinnett County is one of over 182 affiliates in 44 states. There are over 5,500 congregations and 150,000 volunteers making up these Networks. Family Promise brings shelter, meals, and support services to families without homes. Family promise is a cost efficient, effective, and replicable community response to family homelessness.

Our mission is to mobilize communities of congregations that partner with social service agencies to end homelessness – one family at a time. This mission is achieved by focusing all our resources on just 4 families at a time. Currently, the average stay in our network is 70 days and 83% of our families graduate our program with full-time employment and permanent housing.
