Michael W. Garrett
Senior Pastor
Mike graduated from Union Theological Seminary in VA with a Master of Divinity degree in 1987. He later attended Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA and received the Doctor of Ministry degree in 2002.

Mike began his work in parish ministry by answering a call to be the Associate Pastor at the First Presbyterian Church of Danville, VA in 1987. In 1992 he answered the call of the North Avenue Presbyterian Church in Atlanta to serve as Associate Pastor for Evangelism and Pastoral Care. In 1998 he received a call to come to the Corona Presbyterian Church of Denver, CO as Senior Pastor where he served for six and half years.

In the fall of 2004 the call came from Westminster Presbyterian Church to serve as Senior Pastor. Mike began his ministry at Westminster in January of 2005.

In 1984 Mike was married to Marcia. She is a realtor with Northside Brokers. Together they have two children. Tricia is a senior at Georgia State University. Baxter is a junior and attends Brookwood High School. Mike enjoys fishing, reading, spareribs, and hanging out at the beach with his family.

Nicole Lock

Associate Pastor

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Nicole received a B.A. in French from Davidson College in North Carolina. Nicole’s plans were to teach high school French, but God had other plans. Following graduation from Davidson, she served in youth ministry for eight years with Young Life and with two Presbyterian churches. While Director of Youth Ministries at First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk, Virginia, Nicole had the privilege of being involved in a variety of ministries in addition to youth ministry. Through these experiences, God grew Nicole’s heart from a heart for youth to a heart for all of God’s people, and she discerned God’s call to seminary and to ordained ministry. Nicole graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2007. In January 2009, she was ordained and began serving her first ordained call as Associate Pastor for Adult Discipleship at Westminster.

Nicole loves helping people connect to Christ and to one another, especially through small groups. She has been involved with small groups for over twelve years. Nicole also has a heart for the missional church and enjoys equipping people to join in Christ's mission by sharing His love in word and deed in our own backyards and to the ends of the earth.

Nicole is married to James Lock, who works with treasury services for J.P. Morgan. Together, they enjoy traveling, watching movies, reading, and playing with their two cats. Nicole is also an avid fan of ACC basketball. In addition, she enjoys running. She has run two half-marathons and hopes to run a third this year.

Scott Huie
Associate Pastor
for Youth

1994 Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary and 1985 B.A. from Davidson College.

Been the Associate Pastor for Youth since graduating from seminary in 1994. Westminster is first and only church. Also work as President of H₂O Artist Agency, a talent agency specializing in the promotion of contemporary Christian music groups.

Wife Karla and two children, Madison and Jackson. Initially recruited to Westminster for basketball prowess (3 rebounds and 5 fouls a game). Loves all sports, including ultimate frisbee, good music that inspires, Thai food, frolicking with my family and taking moonlit rides in the convertible. Favorite scripture: Psalm 103.

Clary Aaron
Director of
Children's Ministry
Clary graduated from Furman University with a B.A. in Religion in 2007. She is a current student in the Master of Divinity program at Mercer University's McAfee School of Theology, where she met her husband Kristopher.

While in college, Clary began working in churches. She has served in various
capacities in children's and youth ministry since 2003. Clary has been the
Director of Children's Ministry at Westminster since July 2008.

Nancy Narrie
Church Administrator
Nancy has lived in metro Atlanta since 1971 when she moved here from
Gadsden, Alabama. She was employed by Mosler Safe Co. for 18 years and held
several branch, region, and zone office positions before leaving the company
in 1989 to spend more time with her family. She is married to Steve
Narrie; and they have two daughters, Leanne and Lindsay.

The Narrie family joined Westminster in 1984; Nancy has been employed at WPC
since January, 1989. She has been a member of the Administrative Personnel
Association of the PC(U.S.A.) since 1995; membership is open to lay church
employees who wish to become better informed and educated on many topics.
She is certified as a Fellow in Church Administration (F.C.A.), Level I, II,
and III, having taken 120 hours of course work to attain certification at
all three levels.
