Music Programs

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir at Westminster Presbyterian Church leads the congregational hymns and provides anthems and other special music for most 11:15 am Traditional Services. At Christmas and Easter very special music is presented at a worship service.

Under the direction of Donna Carter, with accompaniment by Lovenia Greer on the organ or piano, the Chancel Choir sings a variety of traditional worship music.

Rehearsals are held each Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 9 pm. New additions to the choir are always welcome. If you have any questions concerning the Chancel Choir please contact Donna Carter via e-mail or leave a voice message for her at 770-513-1040.

Contemporary Singers and Musicians

The Contemporary Singers and Musicians at Westminster Presbyterian Church lead the praise music and provides special music for the Contemporary Service held in the Sanctuary from 9-10 am on Sunday mornings. Rehearsals are held each Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9 pm in the Fellowship Center.

Senior High and PULSE Youth Choir

It’s not your every day Youth Choir, but praise and worship with style. Led by Ray Johnston and Kim Fratesi, this gathering will sing great songs of worship with a contemporary flair but also with a touch of tradition. Musicians welcomed. And then be ready to share your gifts with the youth and church in worship! This choir will meet on Sunday Evenings from 5-6 pm in the Choir Room. Rehearsals are held each Sunday evening from 5 to 6 pm in the Choir Room.  

Children's Chimes Choir

Under the direction of Donna Carter the Children's Chimes program meets each Wednesday from 6:15-6:45 p.m. More information can be obtained by contacting Donna Carter via e-mail or or leave a voice message for her at 770-513-1040.

Children's Choirs

There are two children's choirs, the elementary kids (grades 1-5) and the preschool kids (ages 3--kindergarten). These choirs sing periodically during the school year for worship services and other special events. Practice is typically incorporated as part of the wednesday night programming offered to the children. The elementary kids practice from 6:45-7:15 pm and the preschoolers from 7:00-7:20 pm.
